Location - marvellous and decent right by Akihabara or Ginza, embassies close by and 2 Metro lines in the neighbourhood, and the business area from which traveling to the mrt. Also, helpful in making reservations for us in hard to attend restaurants. Top-notch service overall and parking on site. Lobby bar and nice pool.

The building is historic and the rooms are great-sized with a comfortable bed and a 2 m x 10 m terrace with japanese maples and drinks. Superb service and the food is lovely.

We selected this hotel for our end of stay "luxury" night which has extended checkout (midday). The room was spacious and there were several lovely touches for decoration and special features such as remote controls for the curtains! The hotel is well staffed, were always on hand, were very helpful and had excellent English. The foyer displays many letters from famous people who have stayed at the hotel.

The location was in the business district and not terribly convenient unless we wished to stay in the hotel. The meals were (not surprisingly) quite expensive - a coffee was over 900yen! But the Roppongi eating district is only a 20 minute walk. While cable connection to the internet was free, wifi was not.

top-class accommodation, competent staff, perfect location next to the restaurant. substantial and savoury breakfast selection with japanese food and really fresh ingredients, for example served in the restaurant. location right by attraction, the business area and a hill.

Location and room was very spacious and comfortable.

Hey, it's 2012, put wifi on the rooms (without a yen3000 charge!), let in house guests use the pool (without a yen3000 charge!), put a few English speaking cable channels on! Cheers,

    overpriced amenities
    complicated technology

The fitness room and pool are overpriced at 5,490 yen!!! The Wi-Fi connection is intolerable, requiring daily logins, which can ruin any business travel. The room lighting control system is unnecessarily complicated!!!

The great bed and the big room with all the comforts and the bathroom full of all kinds of products.

There's no subway nearby but it's not very far.

    fine views
    attentive staff
    peaceful retreat
    overly bright lighting
    confusing controls

The room was spacious with fine views from the 39th floor. The attentive staff made every effort to ensure my needs were met, including refreshing my room regularly. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, and the convenience of nearby metro stations made navigating Tokyo simple.

Lighting in the bedroom was overly bright and confusing.

We stayed in a suite in the Main building which was a lot quieter than the South Wing. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, the staff were very competent and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them.

    beautiful view
    bed arrangement
    uncomfortable sleeping

Amazing view of the Tokyo Tower!

During my two-night stay, I found the room arrangement quite frustrating. It made for an uncomfortable night as my 11-year-old struggled to fit in the large single beds, and it was disappointing not to have better sleeping arrangements for my family.

Exclusivity. Other five-star hotels are always full of non-guests which makes the atmosphere quite cheap.

My key had to be re-coded every day (four days in a row) as it lost information after a few hours (so I couldn't enter my room whenever I came bac). Also, elevators and corridors were too hot. It was almost like a/c was not on (outside temperatue was as high as 30 c).

    serene atmosphere
    spacious corridors
    luxurious experience
    limited dining
    accessibility issue

The serene atmosphere and spacious corridors were so enjoyable. Every detail, from the art to the lighting, felt thoughtfully curated for a luxurious experience.

More accessible dining options would enhance the experience.
